Coyle takes blame off Jaaskelainen

Owen Coyle has refused to pin the blame on Jussi Jaaskelainen for Bolton's failure to collect a point from their trip to Manchester United. Facing a team reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of Jonny Evans with 15 minutes remaining, the Trotters failed to hold out once Matthew Taylor had missed a golden opportunity. Although he had just made two excellent saves, Jaaskelainen allowed Nani's shot to slip from his grasp three minutes from time and could not recover his ground before Dimitar Berbatov pounced to net the winner. It condemned the Trotters to an eighth successive Old Trafford defeat and cost them the chance to edge closer to Liverpool in the battle for a top six slot. But Coyle insists he is not in the business of singling out one man for his side's misfortune. "It is not my way to apportion blame," said Coyle. "We have gifted individual players and Jussi is one of them. He has been magnificent for me and made one or two outstanding saves, so we have to give balance to it. Everything we do, we do it as a group."
