Coyle: More to come from Trotters

olton manager Owen Coyle believes his side to still be "a work in progress" as he continues to make his mark on the club.[LNB] These remain early days, both this season and in terms of Coyle's reign as he has only been in charge for just over nine months.[LNB]But Saturday's 2-1 injury-time win over Stoke has elevated Bolton to seventh in the Barclays Premier League, just three points behind second-placed Arsenal.[LNB]It is clear Coyle has turned Bolton into a far more difficult team to beat these days, as one loss from their opening eight matches testifies.[LNB]The Scot can have no complaints but he knows there is more to come from a group of players undoubtedly enjoying working with him.[LNB]"The great thing is we're one of the teams in the Barclays Premier League that has spent little or next to nothing," said Coyle.[LNB]"We've not spent £15million or £20million like some other clubs, and of course we wish we had that available, but we don't.[LNB]"So we make the best of what we've got, and we've a group of players who are a joy to work with, they really are.[LNB]"They come in with a smile on their face on a daily basis and are prepared to work hard, to take on board what we are trying to say, the points I'm trying to get across.[LNB]"In this game they showed their quality, and long may that continue, so we're pleased at this moment, but we're nowhere near.[LNB]"We're very much a work in progress and we have to continue with our hard work in each and every game, which presents a different challenge in what is the best league in the world.[LNB]"To get the three points, which are elusive in this league because of the nature of it and the quality you face, puts us in a nice position, but that's all it is.[LNB]"All the hard work is ahead of us, we know that, and we're prepared for it."[LNB]Up until a frenetic final few minutes it appeared Bolton were on course for a fourth successive draw at the Reebok Stadium this season.[LNB]In an entertaining game, Lee Chung-yong's first club goal for nine months midway through the first half was cancelled out just three minutes after the restart when Rory Delap ended a 21-month drought.[LNB]Both sides then wasted chances and the game looked set to remain a draw until 77th-minute substitute Ivan Klasnic latched onto a long throw from Gretar Steinsson in the second minute of injury time to rifle home the winner.[LNB]But Klasnic's afternoon did not end there as he then collected two yellow cards in three minutes to earn himself a red and subsequent dismissal.[LNB]Although disappointed, it failed to take the gloss off a fine win for Coyle who added: "It's great to get that first home win[LNB]"It means we're still unbeaten at home, although I still believe we should have more points than we do at this stage.[LNB]"But we were fully deserving of the three here and we're delighted to get them."
