Coyle denies New Year Sales
Owen Coyle has dismissed rumours that Bolton may be selling Gary Cahill, or anybody else, in January. "There was obviously conjecture and speculation because of the financial results which weren't great," admitted the Bolton boss. "But I've been reassured that we don't need to sell anybody in January and as it happens I'll be looking to strengthen. "We don't have the greatest numbers but we have quality. We want to build the team to take the club on but to do that we need to recognise that the hard work is ahead of us."
