City snap up Hunt and Stewart

ristol City have bolstered their defensive options with the signings of Nicky Hunt from Bolton and Damion Stewart from QPR.[LNB] Right-back Hunt, 26, has signed a two-year deal and arrives on a free transfer after ending his 10-year association with the Trotters.[LNB]Hunt made 161 appearances for the Trotters, his last outing coming in March 2008 against Arsenal at the Reebok Stadium.[LNB]Manager Owen Coyle told the club's official website: "Nicky is a terrific lad but obviously his opportunities have been limited here. We wish him well at Bristol City."[LNB]City paid Championship rivals QPR an undisclosed fee for Jamaica international Stewart, 29, and the centre-back has signed a three-year contract.[LNB]Stewart joined Rangers from Bradford in 2006 and made more than 150 appearances for the London club.[LNB]The pair take the number of new signings at Ashton Gate to four following the arrival of Kalifa Cisse and Albert Adomah from Reading and Barnet respectively.
