Cahill wants fans backing

Bolton star Gary Cahill has told the club's fans to stop jeering them. Trotters chief Gary Megson has never convinced a section of the home support and the weekend's 1-1 draw with Stoke did little convince the Reebok faithful. But Cahill admits that the constant barracking of their own boss is a concern to the players. "Perhaps it affects some players differently to others, but, yes, we definitely heard it," he said. "It's weird. I try to just block it out and do what I can - it's got me to where I am now. "But some of the players find it hard when there's stuff like that going on off the pitch. "Maybe it affects their performance. They could maybe take an extra touch and not move the ball on quickly enough. "We need to get a win here, that's for sure. Clubs should be intimidated when they come to the Reebok. They used to be - and we need to get back to that."
