Cahill: Clot could have been fatal

olton defender Gary Cahill has revealed "the slightest knock" could have proved fatal when he was suffering from a blood clot.[LNB] The 24-year-old is poised to return to action against Manchester United on Saturday for the first time since being diagnosed with the defect before Bolton's game against Fulham last month.[LNB]"The slightest knock could have sent the clot travelling towards my brain, lung or heart," he was quoted as saying in the Daily Mail.[LNB]"Potentially, it could have been life-threatening. That's how serious it might have been - I could have been in real trouble."[LNB]
