Beckford missing for Whites

Bolton will continue to be without top-scorer Jermaine Beckford for the visit of Watford to the Reebok Stadium.

Wanderers' leading marksman has been out since January 11 with a hamstring injury which is proving to be far more serious than first feared, and did not train on Thursday, so another week on the sidelines looks likely.

Joe Mason will come into boss Dougie Freedman's thinking having rejoined the Whites on loan from Cardiff on Thursday following his spell with the club earlier in the campaign.

Fellow loanee Liam Trotter is available again having missed out against parent club Millwall while forward Andre Moritz could return from a knock on his hamstring. Stuart Holden (knee) remains absent.

Watford remain without Fernando Forestieri and Samba Diakite for the trip.

Striker Forestieri missed Tuesday's goalless draw at Yeovil due to a hamstring injury while on-loan midfielder Diakite served the first game of a three-match suspension at Huish Park.

Fitz Hall (Achilles), Almen Abdi (foot) and Lewis McGugan (thigh) are also still absent, although the latter is back in training next week.

There is some good news for boss Giuseppe Sannino with defender Lloyd Doyley back in contention having recovered from a calf problem.
