Silva set for Bolton bow

Forward Wellington Silva is in line for his Bolton debut against Nottingham Forest.

Tim Ream's move to Fulham was finally rubber-stamped on Thursday, allowing Neil Lennon to bring in Arsenal loanee Silva and ex-Cagliari defender full-back Francesco Pisano, although this weekend's clash may come too soon for the latter.

Dean Moxey, the only senior left-back following Ream's departure, is expected to overcome a foot injury to play, while fellow defenders Derik Osede (ankle) and David Wheater (calf) are closing in on returns.

Skipper Darren Pratley (ankle) is unlikely to be seen until after the international break, though, while striker Max Clayton (knee) is still a little way off too.

Henri Lansbury, Jamie Ward and Dexter Blackstock are injury concerns for Forest.

All three players sustained knocks during the goalless draw with Charlton in midweek. Ward (strain) and Blackstock (back) in particular are facing a race against time to be fit.

New signing Kyle Ebecilio could be included in the squad after moving to the City Ground on a season-long loan from Dutch club FC Twente. The 21-year-old midfielder is likely to be on the bench.

Andy Reid, Chris Cohen, Matty Fryatt, Britt Assombalonga and Robert Tesche are all out, although Reid is edging closer to a first team return as he works on his match fitness following his long-standing groin problems.
