Gary Madine set to start up front Emile Heskey set to miss out again for Bolton

Emile Heskey looks set to miss out again as Bolton meet Ipswich at the Macron Stadium.

The striker injured his hip in the warm-up to Saturday's defeat at Leeds and was withdrawn from the team, with Gary Madine expected to start up top for Neil Lennon's side.

Lennon may choose to recall Wellington Silva at home after claiming the Arsenal loanee was not playing well enough to warrant inclusion at Elland Road, while Liam Trotter made his return from a hamstring injury as a substitute on Saturday.

Wanderers remain without Ben Amos (ankle), David Wheater (hamstring), Dorian Dervite (ankle) and Max Clayton (hamstring).

Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy will make late checks on Daryl Murphy and Cole Skuse.

Murphy missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest due to a calf injury and McCarthy has said the Bolton match may be too early for the striker's return.

Skuse has been absent for four games because of a toe problem but it is hoped he could be available this time around.

Jonathan Douglas (foot) was another to sit out the Forest contest and Kevin Bru was forced off at half-time with a sickness bug but McCarthy will be able to call upon both on Tuesday evening. The likes of Giles Coke (knee), David McGoldrick and Teddy Bishop (both hamstring) remain sidelined.
