Mills still missing for Bolton

Matt Mills is still not ready to return to Bolton's squad for the visit of Brighton.

The defender is back in training following a knee problem with next Saturday's trip to Yeovil a more likely comeback date for him.

Striker Joe Mason has an ear infection but Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman expects him to feature. Top scorer Jermaine Beckford is also fit yet Freedman has spoken of his need to improve his conditioning ahead of the final few weeks of the campaign following his hamstring problem.

Stuart Holden this week went under the knife on his latest knee setback and may not play again until 2015 while fellow midfielder Darren Pratley (shoulder) is out for the season. Full-back Marc Tierney (broken leg) is also out.

Brighton captain Gordon Greer returns from suspension for the trip.

Scotland defender Greer served a one-match ban as the play-off chasing Seagulls secured a 2-0 victory over QPR on Tuesday night and should return at centre-half in place of Lewis Dunk.

Keith Andrews cannot play as he is on loan from Bolton while fellow midfielders Andrea Orlandi (thigh) and Andrew Crofts (knee) are still missing.

Long-term crocks Will Hoskins (knee) and Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) are edging closer to returns to action but will not be ready just yet.
