Bolton to bid for Greening - Report

The Wanderers boss denied any interest in the Baggies midfielder last week but, according to the Bolton News, he has since made contact after hearing the 30-year-old wanted to leave The Hawthorns. Fulham, Hull and Stoke are also waiting in line for his signature but having captured Paul Robinson on a season-long loan on Sunday, it is thought Greening could soon follow his former team-mate to the Reebok. West Brom have already turned down offers of £1.8million and £2.2million from Fulham, prompting the player to hold talks with manager Roberto di Matteo about his future. It has now emerged that the Baggies are willing to let the player leave - and with negotiations at a standstill for Swansea's Bodde, Wanderers look likely to switch their attention to the former England Under-21 international. Meanwhile, Albion will now face Italian Serie A side Chievo on August 1 in their only pre-season fixture at The Hawthorns after French outfit AS Nancy were forced to pull out due to travel complications.
