Bolton seal £2.3m David Wheater deal

[LNB]Owen Coyle delivered a message about Bolton's ambitions this season by paying £2.3million for Middlesbrough's David Wheater and vowing to hang on to Gary Cahill. [LNB]The Bolton boss saw off competition from Everton, Stoke and Wolves for 23-year-old Wheater and wants the two England defenders to spearhead his push for a European place. [LNB] Back in the big time: Bolton have brought David Wheater back to the Premier League[LNB]Cahill, 25, continues to be linkedwith Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham, but Coyle is adamant hewill not go until the end of the season, at the earliest.
