The offer has been made for the 26-year-old and Barnsley have accepted as it meets the release clause Davies has in his contract. The Wales international is now talking terms with Bolton, whilst they also finalise terms with Barnsley over the deal. Davies moved to Oakwell in 2011 from Chesterfield and has scored 20 goals since joining the Tykes. Bolton are hopeful that a deal will be concluded for Davies before the weekend.
