Bolton host Bruce's boys

Bolton will hope to ruin Steve Bruce's Premier League debut as Sunderland boss when they host the Black Cats on the first day of the new season. Bruce has taken up the Black Cats hot-seat and is hoping to steer the club towards the top half of the division, but Bolton will be aiming to ensure that mission starts in disappointment. Gary Megson's troops also face title-hopefuls Arsenal and Liverpool before travelling to Hull City in what looks to be a difficult August. October is also a far from appealing month as it serves up meetings with Tottenham, defending champions Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea. Lancashire rivals Blackburn visit on 21st November before December brings games against Manchester City at home, Wigan and new-boys Burnley away. Arsenal head to the Reebok Stadium on 16th January and Burnley arrive 10 days later before the Trotters head to Anfield to take on Rafa Benitez's troops. Bolton visit Stamford Bridge on 10th April before finishing the campaign with a home game against promoted Birmingham on 9th May.
