Bolton goal delights Lee

Lee Chung-Yong has admitted he was relieved to make up for an earlier mistake with his goal for Bolton on Saturday. The South Korea international clinched a 2-1 victory for the Trotters at Birmingham when he turned the ball home after Matt Taylor had hit the post with a free-kick. Lee still had a lot of work to do but showed great composure and skill to create space for himself in a crowded six-yard box. Having surrendered possession before Birmingham's equaliser moments earlier, the 21-year concedes he was delighted to make amends. "Just before their goal I made a mistake so couldn't look at my team-mates," he said in The Sun. "Then I had a big chance and thought 'I must score'. I'm really happy." Lee is regarded as an extremely exciting prospect by manager Gary Megson and he now hopes to go from strength to strength following his summer move from FC Seoul. "My parents arrived yesterday. Maybe they brought me good luck," Lee added. "My mum will stay with me for a while and, hopefully, her food and support can help me adapt."
