Bolton have launched an internal investigation after allegations were made about manager Neil Lennon's private life in the Sunday Mirror.
Championship club Bolton - in administration and without a win since September - confirmed on Sunday evening that they are looking into the reports.
"In response to an article published in the Sunday Mirror on Sunday 20 December, Bolton Wanderers can confirm that the club are currently conducting an internal investigation regarding the matter concerned," a statement on the club's website, www.bwfc.co.uk.
"The club will be making no further comment at this moment in time."
