Bolton boss Megson lines up move for South Korea star Lee Chung-yong
Bolton are weighing up a move for South Korea star Lee Chung-yong.
Gary Megson is looking to add to his squad ahead of the new season and believes the midfielder could bolster his options.
Bolton have watched the FC Seoul man this season and his agent confirmed a deal could happen soon.
'Yes, Bolton have sent a scout to watch him play for South Korea,' said Kim Seung-tae. 'However, nothing has been discussed at this stage.'
Lee's club are willing to discuss a deal should Bolton return with a firm offer.
'There were rumours about Lee, but we have had no contact from Bolton,' said FC Seoul general manager Han Woong-soo.
'We are willing to talk. Lee is a key player for us but he can leave if it will help with his development.'
