Bolton boast improved crowds

Bolton saw their average attendances show an 8% increase last season. They are one of only two clubs in the Premier League to record an increase season on season.[LNB] The figures were announced by parent company Burnden Leisure plc in the financial year ending June 2009.[LNB] Football operations generated a turnover of £51.8million, an increase of 3%. [LNB] Overall the Burnden Leisure Group recorded a loss of £13.2million, compared with a loss of £8.1million the previous year.[LNB] Chief executive Allan Duckworth said: "Despite the difficult economic conditions and the challenges that brings our objectives remain clear and focused.[LNB] "Over the past year we have continued to invest across the business to improve competitiveness and prepare for recovery."
