Wanderers gaffer Gary Megson has been chasing the 30-year-old defender since the end of last season, when Albion dropped out of the Premier League.[LNB]Robinson immediately stated his intention to leave The Hawthorns and remain in England's top tier, but Bolton and the Baggies have been locked in a tug of war over the transfer fee for him.[LNB]Albion chairman Jeremy Peace put a £1million price tag on Robinson's head, and rejected offers of £500,000 and £750,000 from Megson.[LNB]But it appears the Bolton boss will finally get his reunion, having managed the former Watford man during his time in charge of the Baggies, after the two clubs finally agreed on an undisclosed fee.[LNB]New Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo initially stated Robinson was going nowhere after taking the managerial reins from Tony Mowbray, but the player was not in the squad for Saturday's friendly defeat by Histon - and he will not make the pre-season trip to Slovenia.[LNB]Di Matteo has confirmed that Robinson met Bolton officials on Saturday to thrash out personal terms - and the deal will go through once he has passed a medical at The Reebok.[LNB]Robinson may not be the only player heading to Lancashire this summer, as Megson is also a long-time admirer of midfield pair James Morrison and Jonathan Greening.[LNB][LNB]
