Share[LNB]Sulley Muntari finally delivered for Sunderland with the goal that brought a merciful end to one of the worst away runs in the Premier League. [LNB]But the Inter Milan midfielder's strike in the third minute of added time will not be enough to persuade Steve Bruce to go on paying ?70,000 a week to keep him. Muntari arrived in January and Sunderland had not won on their travels since then. [LNB] Last gasp: Sulley Muntari scores a late winner for Sunderland[LNB]In fact, his expensive presence was not enough to prevent the team from slumping to nine defeats in the 11 matches prior to this rare success. [LNB]Bruce, relieved with a win that finally kills relegation fears, said: 'The problem with Sulley was that he came to us having not played for six months. He won the Champions League with Inter, then couldn't get into their team this season. [LNB]'I would say he is only now getting to the level of fitness required to play in the Premier League.' [LNB]Dutch delight: Sunderland's Boudewijn Zenden set his side on the way to victory[LNB]Muntari's strike ended Bolton's run of five home wins, though Owen Coyle's players had only themselves to blame for not making more of their chances. [LNB]Matt Taylor and Daniel Sturridge had shots blocked and Sturridge saw a shot crash off the bar before Bolo Zenden scored Sunderland's first away goal for 447 minutes. [LNB]The officials did not see Steed Malbranque handle the ball 20 yards from Sunderland's goal, nor his subsequent foul on Chung-yong Lee, moments before the breakaway. [LNB]False dawn: Bolton's Ivan Klasnic thought he'd earned his side a point in the 87th minute[LNB]Stephane Sessegnon's through-ball then set up his captain to round Juusi Jaaskelainen. Sturridge fired inches wide and Lee shot over an open goal before Ivan Klasnic headed ina cross from Rodrigo in the 87th minute. [LNB]But the relief in the Reebok was short-lived as Muntari ran on to another superb ball from Sessegnon, hisangled shot helped into the net by Zat Knight. [LNB]Coyle said: 'The fourth official did not see a clear hand-ball and a foul on Lee on the edge of the area. It was frustrating.' [LNB]Bolo goes loco: Zenden handed Sunderland the lead right on half-time[LNB]BOLTON (4-4-2): Jaaskelainen; Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Robinson; Lee (Moreno 76min), Elmander, Muamba (Gardner 46),Taylor (Klasnic 76); Davies, Sturridge.
