Wigan manager Roberto Martinez saw his side shrug off their poor league form and force an FA Cup fourth round replay at the Reebok Stadium.[LNB]Martinez made eight changes to the team that lost at Aston Villa and his young players did him proud.[LNB]In fact, veteran goalkeeper Mike Pollitt had a quiet afternoon as Bolton again struggled to test the opposition defence.[LNB]Former Middlesbrough defender David Wheater made his debut for Bolton, replacing Gary Cahill, who was on the bench, and partnering Zat Knight at the back.[LNB] Cancelling each other out: Bolton's Kevin Davies sees his shot blocked by Maynor Figueroa[LNB] [LNB]He was one of three changes to the side that lost 4-0 to Chelsea with Sam Ricketts and Mark Davies recalled.[LNB]Wigan showed little resemblance to the team that went down at home to Aston Villa.[LNB]Only Emmerson Boyce, Maynor Figueroaand James McArthur retained their places with Pollitt in goal as Ali AlHabsi was barred from facing his parent club.[LNB]Bolton almost made the perfect startwhen Kevin Davies flicked the ball on to Johan Elmander but his effortwas diverted over the bar.[LNB]Wigan again found themselves on theback foot and Matt Taylor tried to pick out Petrov at the back post butput too much weight on the pass.[LNB]The visitors responded and Victor Moses skipped round goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen only to send his shot into the side netting.[LNB]In the 11th minute, Moses got on the end of a ball from Jordi Gomez but strayed marginally offside.[LNB]Then five minutes later Moses again found space but his effort was deflected to safety by Wheater.[LNB]Callum McManaman got on the end of a cross from Moses in the 23rd minute but Paul Robinson was on hand to clear his lines.[LNB]Gomez tried his luck from 25 yardsin the 28th minute but Jaaskelainen got down quickly to make the blockand keep his side on level terms.[LNB]Four minutes later Bolton surgedforward and Elmander released Petrov but the former Manchester Citywinger sent his effort wide of the post.[LNB]Bolton had some momentum now andPetrov rattled in a shot in the 35th minute but Ben Watson wasperfectly positioned to make the block.[LNB]Two minutes before the break Watsontook a free-kick that was well delivered but again Jaaskelainen came toBolton's rescue by clearing with his legs.[LNB]Wheater marked his debut by being booked for a needless handball three minutes into the second half.[LNB]He then began to play with fire, bringing down Diame. Watson took the free-kick and hit it sweet andtrue only for Jaaskelainen to save at his near post.[LNB]Wigan were looking good on the counter-attack and McManaman rattled in a shot a minute later that was blocked by Kevin Davies.[LNB]Bolton manager Owen Coyle then brought on Rodrigo Moreno and Robbie Blake in the 62nd minute for Matt Taylor and Petrov.[LNB]However, it was Wigan that steppedup the pace and McManaman found space down the right and delivered theball into the area. Moses was off balance and attempted an overheadkick that failed to make contact.[LNB]Blake was quickly into the actionand saw his shot blocked before play switched back down the other endand Wheater was on hand to divert a shot from Moses to safety.[LNB]Wigan came close to taking the leadwhen a shot from McManaman was superbly turned away by Jaaskelainen inthe 75th minute after a slight deflection.[LNB]Bolton hit back and substituteStuart Holden sent Rodrigo clear and he delivered a cross that wasturned away at the back post with Blake on hand to take advantage ofany mistake.[LNB]A minute later Wheater squandered a glorious chance giving Bolton the lead when he stabbed a shot wide of the post.[LNB]Jaaskelainen was again called on to save Bolton turning away an inswinging free kick from Gomez as the game finished level.[LNB] West Brom steal march on Bolton with loan deal for Arsenal striker VelaWest Brom and Wigan want El-Hadji Diouf after Blackburn bad boy stalls on Konyaspor move FA CUP LIVE: Everton 0 Chelsea 0 and Aston Villa v Blackburn - follow the action as it happensAll the latest Bolton Wanderers news, features and opinionAll the latest Wigan Athletic news, features and opinion[LNB]  Explore more:People: Kevin Davies, Robbie Blake, Gary Cahill, David Wheater, Victor Moses, Emmerson Boyce, Paul Robinson, Ben Watson, Johan Elmander, Zat Knight, Jordi Gomez, Mike Pollitt, Owen Coyle, Matt Taylor, Roberto Martinez
