Bogdan keen to impress with Alex

Bogdan has joined the Alex after the League Two club saw David Button forced to return to Tottenham Hotspur due to injury. Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson gave Bogdan an immediate debut in Tuesday's home game against Bury, but he was unable to prevent a 3-2 home defeat. Reports in Hungary claimed Leeds had also shown an interest in the 22-year-old, who is determined to make the most of his time at Gresty Road. "I'm happy to join Crewe," said Bogdan. "I want to be Bolton's goalkeeper and in order to reach this goal, I need games for my constant development. "It's a great thing that many teams wanted to get me, which means that I'm on the right way and it's worth training hard. "I want to help Crewe because I'm grateful for the chance I have got from them." Bogdan has yet to make a first-team appearance for Bolton, but signed a new contract earlier this year which ties him to the Premier League club until 2011.
