Bolton's England Under 21 international Mark Davies will be out of action for several weeks after injuring his knee against Fulham at the weekend. The midfielder, signed from Wolves in January, has been in impressive form since making his debut and set up Wanderers' opening goal for his namesake Kevin in Saturday's match. Bolton manager Gary Megson said he was hopeful Davies would be back in first-team contention before the end of the season. He said: 'Mark is struggling. We don't know exactly how long it will be for but we would consider it long term. 'We hope he will be back before the end of the season. This sort of thing happens, but he will get over it because he's a young lad.' Bolton 1 Fulham 3: Hodgson's United reality check for Fulham
