Blackburn boss Allardyce managed powerful frontman Davies during his spell in charge at The Reebok - and is reportedly keen to be reunited with the 32-year-old this summer.[LNB]The Trotters have already insisted they have no plans to sell Davies, who scored 12 goals last season.[LNB]But Allardyce is believed to be ready to offer £6million to get his man as he sees Davies as an ideal replacement for Paraguayan hitman Santa Cruz, who signed a five-year contract with Manchester City on Monday after passing a stringent medical with the Eastlands outfit.[LNB]Gary Megson may be tempted to cash in on Davies, as he is trying to generate funds in order to sign the likes of defender Paul Robinson, midfielder Miguel Veloso and striker Moumouni Dagano.[LNB][LNB]
