// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Bolton have bucked the Premier League trend and announced an increase in average attendances at the Reebok Stadium last season.[LNB] The Trotters are one of only two clubs in the top flight to record an increase season on season - posting an eight per cent rise.[LNB]The figures were announced by parent company Burnden Leisure plc in the financial year ending June 2009.[LNB]The rise in attendances to watch Gary Megson's side helped football operations also generate an increased turnover of three per cent to £51.8million.[LNB]But the Burnden Leisure Group recorded a loss of £13.2million overall, compared with a loss of £8.1million the previous year.[LNB]Chief executive Allan Duckworth said: "Despite the difficult economic conditions and the challenges that brings our objectives remain clear and focused.[LNB]"Over the past year we have continued to invest across the business to improve competitiveness and prepare for recovery."[LNB]
