Anichebe haunted by horror tackle

Victor Anichebe admits that it makes him feel "sick" every time he thinks of the career-threatening tackle that has put him out for the season. It is six weeks since the tackle by Newcastle's Kevin Nolan damaged Anichebe's knee ligaments, but it clearly plays on the 20-year-old Everton striker's mind. He said: "The more and more I think about it, it makes me sick really. But then I realise I am quite lucky because on another day I could have broken my leg and that might have been the end of my career." Anichebe is now looking forward to playing again next season. He added: "The injury is healing all right although I am still hobbling along. "I have got a brace on my leg and I can't really put any weight on it. But the wound is healing and everything seems to be going to plan."
