Al Habsi happy with role

Ali Al Habsi is happy with his future at Bolton Wanderers despite not playing a single first-team game for the club this season.[LNB] The Oman goalkeeper was recently on the radar of several Premier League and European club at the end of last year but pledged his future to the Trotters by penning a four-and-a-half year deal.[LNB]Last September the 27-year old publicly voiced his concern at the lack of playing time under manager Gary Megson, but has now had a change of hearts and is happy to play second fiddle to Jussi Jaaskelainen.[LNB]"The thing that persuaded me to stay is that I'm very comfortable here and all the Bolton fans really like me. If you move to another club then you don't know what is going to happen," Al Habsi told the Manchester Evening News.[LNB]Chance"Gary Megson gave me a chance last year, (goalkeeping coach) Fred Barber works me really hard and I'm also happy to work alongside Jussi and Adam Bogdan."[LNB]"Before I signed, I had a conversation with Fred. If anything happens, I like to speak to him as we are really close and he knows what things are important for me," he added.[LNB]"A four-and-a-half year deal is great and I think I'm going to have a good future with the club."[LNB]
