Al Habsi close to Wigan move

Wigan are closing in on the signing of Bolton goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi after reportedly agreeing a fee in the region of £4million.

Al Habsi enjoyed a successful season on loan with Latics last term and boss Roberto Martinez is keen to take him back to the DW Stadium on a permanent basis.

Martinez saw two bids of £2million and £3million fail, seemingly putting an end to his hopes.

However, reports claims Wanderers are ready to accept a £4million offer from Latics.

Wanderers are ready to cash in on the Oman international after securing the services of the long-serving Jussi Jaaskelainen for two more years.
