Afobe stays positive on Bolton

On-loan teenager Benik Afobe is confident Bolton can secure a swift return to the Premier League despite their shaky start. The Trotters have failed to stage an immediate response following their relegation from the top-flight last term and sit 18th in the table after 10 games. Their early season struggles cost manager Owen Coyle his job earlier this month but 19-year-old striker Afobe, on a season-long loan from Arsenal, is confident they can mount a promotion push. He told Sky Sports: "I've been watching Bolton for many years, as a youngster, in the Premier League and they've got a fantastic squad here, with more than half of the side kept on from last season. "You could say that all the players here are Premier League players in terms of quality and now it's just a case of turning that into performances every week. "The aim is to bounce straight back into the Premier League and hopefully I can help to make that happen this season. "We can't change what has gone in the past, but it is up to us now to change the club's fortunes around, starting with the next game against Bristol City."
