Named as one of 'The Times' 50 rising stars in January 2009, Chung-Yong Lee looks destined for a big future.

The 22-year-old joined Bolton in the summer of last year, signing for what now appears to be bargain £2.2 million.

He had previously spent five years with FC Seoul in his native South Korea, making 54 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

He quickly established himself at the Reebok Stadium, with his pace and trickery proving to be a big hit with the fans.

In his debut season he clocked up 34 appearances, scoring four times and providing a number of assists from midfield.

On the international stage Lee has played for Korea Republic under 20s and under 23s and has since amassed 26 senior caps since making his debut in 2008.

After winning the Bolton Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year, and best newcomer awards, the skilful winger has started this season in similarly impressive form, starting every Premier League game and scoring once.
