Bologna have been hit with a 25,000-euro fine after some of their fans held up a tasteless banner during a match against Juventus on March 7.
The banner made a reference to former versatile Juve player Gianluca Pessotto, who tried to commit suicide in June 2006, not long after he had retired as a player.
He was appointed as team manager at Juve after retiring but apparently became depressed over the match-fixing Calciopoli scandal that saw Juve relegated to Serie B and stripped of their 2005 and 2006 titles.
He survived a fall from the fourth floor and later came back to resume his duties at Juve. He is now a youth team coach with the Turin giants.
He also had a one-year spell at Bologna earlier in his career when they were in Serie B but was widely seen as a disappointment.
Palermo and their president Maurizio Zamparini have been fined 27,000-euros each over comments the official made about referee Luca Banti following the Palermo-Roma clash on March 11.
