Bochum's Canada international midfielder Daniel Imhof has signed a new two-year contract with the BUndesliga club.
The 30-year-old's new deal also has an option for a further 12 months, with Imhof having been a key figure in Bochum's fine season.
Coach Marcel Koller told the club's official website: "Daniel has shown this season how important he is for the team.
"He has shown that he can hold his own in the Bundesliga and I am pleased that we can reckon with him in the future."
Imhof joined Bochum in the summer of 2005, having previously played in Switzerland for FC Wil and St Gallen.
