Elevenses - Fergie slams snoods

Published: 10 Dec 2010 - 10:33:10

Snoodgate is raging again today, with the news that Sir Alex Ferguson has offered his take on the warming neckwear that's taking the Premier League by storm.

"They're for power puffs," Fergie announced yesterday, as usual pulling no punches.

With United set to take on Arsenal on Monday night it was a well-timed barb. Samir Nasri loves a snood and Maroune Chamakh has been known to sport one too. Whether they'll be pulling one on against United is now very hard to call.

In slamming the snood Fergie also took a swipe at ex-United star Carlos Tevez, who persists in sporting one himself in the colours of Manchester City.

"You won't see a Man Utd player wearing a snood," Rio Ferdinand tweeted yesterday. That might be true Rio, but there was a time when you'd have said we wouldn't see a United player visiting a prostitute too...and look what happened there.

Elevenses is all about the snood. Why be cold and miserable when there's a warming option that can keep you comfortable...and cover up all those festive love bites.

Do girls still give love bites?DSG
