It hasn't taken the gossip mongerers long to link new Inter boss Rafa Benitez to a couple of his former Liverpool charges.

According to the Daily Mail, Rafa is keen on reuniting with Dutch hitman Dirk Kuyt and Argentine midfielder Javier Mascherano.

A combined pricetag of £33 million has been plucked from the ether, money that could come in very handy to cash-strapped Liverpool.

Kuyt recently hailed Benitez as a "fantastic coach" and said the Spaniard has done wonders for his career.
