Arsenal fans look away now. As if Barcelona bidding for Cesc Fabregas wasn't bad enough, mega-rich Real Madrid look set to enter the race for the Spaniard's signature.

Apparently Jose Mourinho is planning a £40 million raid for the central midfielder, although that amount would still fall short of Arsene Wenger's £60m valuation.

If Real fail to land Fabregas then the Special One could turn to Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard.

Stevie endured a miserable season with the Reds and could be tempted to make a fresh start in Spain, particularly with the current turmoil engulfing the red half of Merseyside.

Sticking in the north-west, and Manchester City look set to try and offload Robinho this summer.

Roberto Mancini is reportedly lining up a swap deal which would see the troublesome Brazilian join Barca, with out of favour front-man Zlatan Ibrahimovic moving to Eastlands in exchange.

One man who is in high-demand this summer is Stromsgodset's 19-year-old striker Marcus Pedersen.

The Norwegian teenager is currently earning rave reviews in his home country, alerting the likes of Everton, Sunderland, Fulham, West Brom, Bolton and Blackburn.

A move to the Premier League looks inevitable, but where he ends up is anyone's guess.
