Rumours - Toure paves way for Fabregas Barca move
Published: 10 May 2010 - 09:22:17
Barcelona's Yaya Toure has given Arsenal fans reasons to be fearful, after suggesting he could move to the Emirates as a makeweight in a deal that takes Cesc Fabregas to the Nou Camp.
Fabregas has long been linked with a move back to the Catalan club, with Wenger hitting out at them for their persistent public chasing of the Spanish playmaker.
But Toure has suggested he'd be happy to move to Arsenal alongside £25million to fuel further rumours that it will be this summer that Fabregas finally ends his stint in North London for sunnier pastures.

After a very warm handshake with Harry Redknapp at the end of the Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur match, it would seem that Craig Bellamy has his heart set on switching his allegiances at the end of the season.
Bellamy has seemed unsettled at City since the appointment of Roberto Mancini and a link-up with Redknapp at Spurs could be ideal for the Welshman, as he could veto the disappointment of missing out on the Champions League.
Spurs have also been linked with a move for Real Madrid legend, Raul, who will be available for a nominal fee in the summer, whilst Robbie Keane has stated he fully expects to return to White Hart Lane once his loan deal with Celtic expires.

In other news, the revolving door at Newcastle is likely to be slower this summer, as despite the expected £60m windfall from promotion, Chris Hughton has claimed that he will have no money to spend after the club made large losses.
Hughton will have to rely on free transfers and loans if he is to strengthen his squad at all, whilst in-form striker Andy Carroll has been tipped for a £5m move to Stoke.
