Rumours - Cole and Pienaar heading to Spurs

Giddy Tottenham fans have even more reason to smile today, with mounting speculation that Joe Cole with be at the Lane next season.
The England midfielder has been linked to Liverpool and Manchester City in recent weeks, but The Sun reckon he's keen to join former West Ham boss Harry Redknapp at Spurs.
Cole's contract talks have stalled at Chelsea, and if Spurs can come up with £100,000/week in wages, Cole looks likely to join the Champions League qualifiers in the summer.
Redknapp is also courting Everton star Steven Pienaar, who has 12 months remaining on his contract at Goodison Park.

Meanwhile, The Times reports that the Glazers turned down a £1.5 billion bid for Manchester United from a 'Middle Eastern Investment Group'.
The news throws a spanner in the works for the Red Knights and their plans to take over at Old Trafford in the summer.
