Year out helped me - Holloway

Holloway endured a disastrous spell at Leicester in 2007-08 as the Midlands outfit were relegated to the third tier of English football for the first time in their history.

He rejoined the managerial merry-go-round in the summer and has made the high-flying Seasiders surprise challengers for promotion.

Holloway said: "I don't get as emotional and horrible as I used to because when I don't get what I want I'm not very nice.

"After having a year out I'm trying to stay calm. When you're a manager you put people under pressure.

"I don't want to do that, I've got to handle the pressure and hope it goes down."
