Walton: I need to feel wanted
The 21-year-old has made 12 league starts for Plymouth since his move from QPR in the summer but has found first-team opportunities limited in recent weeks.
Walton will not be eligible to make his Blackpool debut when Argyle visit Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
He said: "I'm looking to get my career back on track and get myself back on track but I also want to help the team and the club at the same time. I need to feel wanted and to play football again.
"My career has took a massive nose-dive this year with various things that have happened, and it's nice that I've been given a chance by the manager and the people here to resurrect it."
