Vaughan: I will improve

Blackpool midfielder David Vaughan believes his international fortunes can only improve as a result of playing in the Barclays Premier League. The Tangerines have a tough season ahead as they bid to survive in the top flight, but Vaughan is relishing the exposure to the higher level. He feels it will make him a better player and help him excel, not only domestically but on the international stage with Wales. The 27-year-old was a member of the Wales side beaten in their opening Euro 2012 qualifier in Montenegro last Friday. Vaughan said: "I thought I played well - there were a few things I could have done better but I've been doing all right in recent games for Wales and for Blackpool, so the only disappointment was losing the game. "Playing in the Premier League on a regular basis can only help improve me as a player."
