Blackpool have reported Queens Park Rangers to the Football Association after accusing their Championship rivals of an illegal approach for defender Kaspars Gorkss.
Last week the R's reported they had made an offer for the Latvia international, who has made 56 appearances since joining the Seasiders from Venspils in January 2007.
However, Blackpool are unhappy with the manner of the deal and have lodged a complaint with the FA.
"On 11 June, Blackpool Football Club can confirm that it reported Queens Park Rangers to the FA for what it deems to be an illegal approach for defender Kaspars Gorkss," read a club statement.
"This matter is now in the hands of the FA."
