Targets frustrate Grayson

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has revealed his frustration after seeing a number of transfer targets turn their backs on moves to Bloomfield Road.

Grayson is still keen to add more new faces to his squad following their promotion to the Championship, but is finding the process of luring new players to the club a difficult process.

"We've been after players permanently or on loan deals and some have gone to bigger clubs, but that's just the nature of the beast," he told the club's official website.

"Everybody is after good players and hopefully we can try and secure one or two others."

Meanwhile, Grayson has revealed the Seasiders are anxious awaiting scans on an injury sustained by Ian Evatt during Tuesday's 1-0 Carling Cup victory over Huddersfield Town.
