With only Billy Clark joining the Seasiders this summer and Shaun Barker leaving to join Derby, Holloway knows he will have to make a number of signings to boost his squad numbers. "I haven't got the strength in depth that I need, everybody knows that. I will probably have to bring in five or six," he told the Blackpool Gazette. "I have to add lads that I can put my name and my stamp on, who will be proud to play for Blackpool." Meanwhile, the club's chairman Karl Oyston believes Holloway could target younger players from lower leagues as he looks to consolidate for the future. Oyston said "(The club) want to back Ian to bring players in from lower leagues or non-league even, or younger players and try to develop them."
