Blackpool midfielder Keith Southern is determined to regain a first-team spot in the near future, having completed a three-match suspension.
The 27-year-old has been sidelined since his sending-off in the Carling Cup defeat at Macclesfield Town, but is now back in contention for the Seasiders.
He told the Blackpool Gazette: "I can't wait to come back because the last three weeks have been very long.
"To miss three games has been galling and I have been absolutely gutted to have to watch them from the stand.
"I still feel the red card I received at Macclesfield was harsh, but if the intent is there then I probably have to go.
"It was poor on my behalf and I apologised to the manager and the lads and it won't happen again. It has been awful to watch from the stands."
