Southern hails Holloway's outlook

The former Everton man, who is in his eighth season with Blackpool, believes Holloway has made the Seasiders much more creative. "We seem to be able to keep the ball higher up the pitch for longer," he told the Blackpool Gazette. "The more time you get in and around the box the more shots and goals you get. "Some of the time when we were playing a rigid 4-4-2 in the past couple of seasons we created absolutely nothing and just scraped through games by the skin of our teeth 1-0 or 1-1."
