Seasiders swoop for midfield pair

Nowland, 28, who was released by Notts County on May 31, returns to the club with whom he made his professional debut at the age of 16 in May 1998. Hudson, also 28, started his career at Middlesbrough and turned down a new deal with Rotherham this summer. Both men are expected to feature in Tuesday night's Carling Cup first round tie against Crewe at Gresty Road.
