Blackpool's on loan winger Wes Hoolahan is keen to sign a permanent deal to remain at Bloomfield Road.
The 24-year-old Irishman has been in impressive form since arriving at the League One promotion hopefuls from Livingston in August.
And after netting the winner in the Seasiders' 2-1 victory over Cheltenham on Tuesday, Hoolahan has revealed he is close to agreeing terms over a permanent switch.
"I am hoping to sign for the club in the next few days," he told the Blackpool Gazette.
"I get on well with the lads, I like the place and everything is great here, including the manager. Hopefully we are going places and moving up.
"I think we can get to the play-offs. The way we're playing at the moment and with the team spirit we have I think we will go far."
