Seasiders snare Broomes

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has made former Stoke City defender Marlon Broomes his first signing of the summer.
The 30-year-old moves to Bloomfield Road on a free transfer after being released by the Potters last month.
The former Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston player has penned an initial one-year-deal with the Seasiders and there is also the option for a further year.
Broomes made 42 appearances as Stoke won promotion from the Championship in the season just ended, but started only three of the last eight matches.
