Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has strengthened his squad by signing Middlesbrough defender Anthony McMahon on loan.
The 21-year-old right-back will remain at Bloomfield Road for the next month and made his debut for the Seasiders in their Championship clash against Scunthorpe United.
McMahon was a member of the much-vaunted Boro side that won the FA Youth Cup in 2004 and represented England at Under-19 level.
He made his first-team debut in the Premiership draw at Manchester United just over three years ago and has gone on to make 23 more appearances for the club.
However, his last league appearance came in the 1-1 draw at Bolton at the end of the 2005-06 campaign.
