Seasiders' Adam in buoyant mood

The 23-year-old Scot sealed a £500,000 transfer to Bloomfield Road from Rangers earlier this week and then helped Ian Holloway's men beat Everton 2-1 in their final pre-season friendly. That has ensured Adam will head to the capital in buoyant mood as Seasiders boss Holloway returns to his former club. Adam said: "I am looking forward to it. It is going to be tough because they have spent a bit of money in the summer. "But we are capable of going there and getting a result because we are capable of beating anybody in the league."
